Abstract: In this study, two nutrition indexes and six agronomic characters including crude protein content( CP),relative feed value( RFV),plant height, tillering branches, fresh yields, hay yields,stem/leaf ratio, and plant numbers of 12 alfalfa varieties grown in the irrigated area of Hexi Corridor were evaluated by the grey correlation analysis model. The results showed that G,Xingjiang Daye, and I were the top three on the yield-index value system,Xingjiang Daye,I,H,and G were the top four on the nutritive-index value system, while G,Xingjiang Daye, and I were the top three on the general performance value system. In general,G,Xingjiang Daye, and I preformed well in the study area, which indicated that these three varieties were suitable for cultivation in the irrigated area of Hexi Corridor.
