Micronized Potato Starch Modification Process of Hydrophobic-lipophilicChinese Full Text

Abstract: By studying the dispersing performance of micronized potato starch in the organic solvent,this research aims to disscuss the affects of micronization on the chemical activity of potato starch.After MPST has got lipophilic modification by aluminic ester coupling agent,the dispersion was significantly increased,and along with the decline of MPST particle size,the stability of dispersed system composed of hydrophobic-lipophilic of MPST/liquid paraffin significantly increased,When MPST(d50=11.919μm),after 12 hour’s disposition without being moved,the dispersion rate in MPST/liquid paraffin only decreased by 16.6%,hydrophobic lipophilic modification can effctively improve the moisture and oil absorption capability of MPST,the moisture absorption rate of MPST(d50=11.919μm) decreased by 9.1%,and the oil absorption rate decreased by 59.4%.
