文学在ESP教学中的缺失

Abstract: 在经济全球化的时代背景下,实用主义风行社会,极具实用价值的专门用途英语（即ESP）日益兴盛,而文学教育日见衰微。本文从文学和专门用途英语的关系出发,分析了文学处境艰难的原由,并指出文学在专门用途英语教学中的缺席导致的严重后果;同时,本文阐明人文教育和批判性思维对于培养复合型人才的重要性以及文学教育在专门用途英语教学中的不可或缺性。
