试析李鸿章与晚清直隶电政

Abstract: 有线电报是近代兴办洋务事业的重要组成部分,中国内陆铺设电报线肇始于直隶。光绪初年,直隶总督李鸿章出于军事需要,倡议并主持在直隶分阶段架设了多条线路,逐建形成了京畿的电报线路网络,为以后其他省份架线入京做好了准备。在其过程中,李鸿章在经费筹措和人员培养等方面都有所贡献,为中国自行架线奠定了基础。
