Abstract: Kenya,located at Eastern Africa,is a less forested country.But its forest sector has been playing an important role in national economic development.This paper presented the main features of Kenya’s forestry in terms of forest resources and their utilization,forestry policy and its evolution,natural conservation and ecotourism development.Based on the above analysis as well as the trading relationship between China and Kenya,this paper provided suggestions on forestry cooperation between China and Kenya.
