Abstract: A subway medium car is taken as a research object, standard k-ε turbulence model is used, and numerical analysis is carried out for the air flow and heat transfer conditions of the air-conditioning duct and three-dimensional space of the interior car with a capacity of 230 people. Assessment of the air conditioning and ventilation design was conducted, considering the car-body wall heat transfer, the body heat and other heat transfer process. The calculation results show that there is air counter-flow phenomenon in the eighth outlet and uneven distribution of temperature interior. Response to these shortcomings, the baffler location and number around the eighth outlet are adjusted. The new project remove the air counter-flow phenomenon, and improve the distribution of the temperature with a reduced temperature range from 4 to 2. 5℃.
