Abstract: Spleen and stomach is the key for the upbearing and downbearing of qi. Spleen should upbear but stomach should downbear. The disorders of spleen upbearing or stomach downbearing lead to various diseases. State medical master,Professor XU Jingfan thinks that upbearing the clear and downbearing the turbid is an important theory and method in treatment of spleen and stomach diseases and summarizes as downbearing qi,freeing the bowels, supplementing qi,upbearing yang and raising the fall.
