Abstract: OBJECTIVE To analyze the compositions of volatile constituents in Semen Cassiae.METHODS The volatile constituents in Semen Cassiae were extracted with headspace solid phase micro extraction（HS-SPME）,and their constituents and contents were confirmed by GC-MS.RESULTS 54 peaks were identified fromSemen Cassiae and31 constituents were separated.The latter was made up51.96%of the total amount.CONCLUSION The compounds in Semen Cassiae were firstly confirmed in this study which will provide scientific evidence for the development of Semen Cassiae.
