An Empirical Study on Employment Regional Flows of Shanghai College GraduatesChinese Full Text

Abstract: Shanghai graduate employment regional distribution is uneven, and distribution of employment units show s different characteristics. This paper takes 2011 Shanghai college students’ employment data as sample data, uses binomial Logistic regression model to analyze factors influencing university graduates,employment location preferences,and chooses to study the influence of graduates’ employment on their w ages. The results are: Students from Shanghai almost all choose to w ork in Shanghai; Students w ho are not from Shanghai but are w orking in Shanghai are mostly from central and w estern regions or economically backw ard regions; higher w ages are an important reason for the influx of university graduates into Shanghai. According to the characteristics of different regions,w e can propose corresponding solutions and take appropriate measures to deal w ith the employment problem. In this w ay w e can ease university graduates ’ employment pressure of Shanghai.
