Logistics Industry Convergence: the Driving Force, the Pattern and the Strategic PathsChinese Full Text

Abstract: In order to provide a theoretical framework and policy support to China’s logistics industry convergence, the article, integrating the industry convergence theory, proposed a basic conceptual framework of logistics industry convergence. The driving forces of logistics industry convergence were also studied. The results indicate that, the pursuit of commercial interests is the essence driving force, the supply and demand is the direct driving force, logistics service innovation is the intrinsic driving force, and GVN embeding is the external driving force. And then three patterns of logistics industry convergence were also proposed, including the value module embedded model, the crisscross infiltration model and the value network reorganization model. At last, the "three-in-one" strategic path of logistics industry convergence was offered.
