Abstract: Microstructure and mechanical properties of 15-5PH stainless steel thin-walled cylinders with large deformation by power spinning and aging treatment were studied. The results show that the spun samples remain anisotropic microstructure when aged at 450-620 ℃,and have finer microstructure and dispersively distributed precipitates compared with that free from spinning. With the increase of aging temperature, tensile strength of the spun and aged samples is enhanced and their elongation decreases. When aged at the same temperature, the spun samples have enhanced tensile strength and decreased elongation compared with that free from spinning.
