Abstract: The experiments of solution and aging were carried out on as-rolled 7075 aluminum alloy, and their microstructure and fracture morphology were observed and analyzed. The results show that when aged at different temperatures, the second phases precipitate in grains and grain boundaries of the 7075 aluminum alloy in various degrees and the grain size is much different. When aged at 200 ℃,the microstructure is fine and many dispersed second phases precipitate in grains and grain boundaries. However, when aged at 220 ℃,the precipitation of the second phases decrease dramatically, the microstructure is coarsened. Meanwhile, when aged at 200 ℃,the dimension of depth and width of the dimples were almost the greatest, showed a typical ductile fracture.
