Abstract: This paper summarized the current food security policies including subsidies to grain farmers,compensation for major grain producing areas,minimum purchase price of grain,farmland protection,and so on.The author believed that these policies acquired remarkable achievements but there were many problems such as imperfect food subsidies methods,inadequate compensation for major grain producing areas,and coordination food security goals with farmer’s income increase,imperfect price system of minimum grain purchase.Then some policies recommendations were put forward.
