Abstract: The soil is quite poor and short of zinc in the cold and dry plateau area of China.In order to solve the related problems in ecological rehabilitation,a research approach was proposed,in which natural clay( attapulgite) was used and papermaking waste derivatives( zinc ligninsulfonate) as the matrix material,and the method of solution polymerization was used to prepare multi-component and multi-function controlled-released zinc fertilizer.The results show that the water absorbency of the controlled-released zinc fertilizer can meet the requirements of the national standards,and exhibit absorption of 320 g H2 O per gram sample and the zinc sustained-release time is more than 30 d.The research has a guiding significance to the ecological rehabilitation in western China,and also a greater stategic significance to China’s sustainable development.
