Abstract: This paper highlights the research on a steel braced-frame structure designed for a practical high-rise industrial building. The seismic analysis,performance-based analysis,concept design and enhanced details design were synthetically utilized for this structure. The theory result and engineering application both show that the proposed structure system and design method can meet the requirements of China code and engineering application.
