The impact of deanxit on short-term quality of life and prognosis in patients with chronic heart failureChinese Full Text

Abstract: Objective:To investigate the effect of deanxit on short-term quality of life and prognosis in patients with chronic heart failure.Method:Base on whether treatment with deanxit or not,126 patients with chronic heart failure were grouped into treatment group（60 cases）and control group（66 cases）,the basal state and quality of life between two groups were compared and followed up for six months.The changes in quality of life were analyzed and the endpoint events（readmission for heart failure and all cause mortality）were also compared with Long-rank test.Result:The based status and quality of life showed no significant difference between two groups. During following up,the overall quality of life score was significantly higher than the control group,mainly included the physiology function（0.2±9.5vs-3.0±8.9,P=0.05）,physical role limitation（0.4±10vs-2.5±8.3, P=0.05）,emotional role limitation（4.1±8.5vs-1.7±8.3,P＜0.01）and mental health（2.6±9.3vs-0.9± 9.6,P＜0.01）dimension;but the total the end events was similar（24.2% vs 21.7%）,survival analysis showed no significant difference between the two groups.Conclusion:Deanxit significantly improved short-term quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure,but had no significant effect on short-term outcome events.
