Abstract: Objective: To explore the change of shock index( SI,heart rate /systolic blood pressure) in acute heart failure caused by acute anterior myocardial infarction, and to investigate whether SI can be used to evaluate heart failure caused by acute anterior myocardial infarction. Method: Heart rate, blood pressure, and Killip class of patient diagnosed with acute anterior myocardial infarction in Navy General Hospital in 2011 were summarized. Patients were divided into heart failure group and non-heart failure group according to Killip class, and SI between the two groups was compared. Result: SI of heart failure group was bigger than non-heart failure group, and there was a significant difference between them. Conclusion: SI can be used to evaluate heart failure caused by acute anterior myocardial infarction.
