Abstract: Sample pretreatment is the principal challenging to human plasma proteomics research,which brings difficulties to the separation and determination of full spectrum of plasma or serum proteins as well as screening of biomarker of tumors by differential proteomic,since human plasma or serum contain elements of all proteins produced in the body characterised the wide dynamic range and obviously differential in abundance.In this article,we present an overview of the effects of the variables involved in sample collection,handling and storage and different approaches for removal of high abundance proteins and serum / plasma fractionation.
