Abstract: Along with the growth of the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease（COPD）,it is usually associated with multi-system damage.Due to the special anatomical structure and pathophysiological characteristics of liver,the viscera related to liver and lungs is easily to be affected.This article,from the perspectives of Chinese and western medicine,discussed theory and clinical evidence form treatment from the liver of COPD,and analysed the TCM and western medicine commonness between liver and COPD as well as liver and lung.So it can provide the new diagnosis and treatment of COPD,better taking the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine to treat the miscellaneous diseases.
