Abstract: The essay begins with the connotation of"root and branch"and expounds the five principles in different treat processes in Huang Di Nei Jing,which reflect that while attaches importance to the essence of illness,TCM also emphasizes treatment according to pattern that situation should be divided according to the degree of sickness and handled flexibly.
