Abstract: Objective:To observe and research on the relationship between quantity of Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction and the clinical effect on its function of improving DGP’s gastrointestinal motility.Methods:108 DGPs were randomly divided into treatment group and comparison group with 54 cases in each.Treatment group with more dose(1 Liang equals 15.625g),comparison group with less dose(1 Liang equals 3g);both groups adopt oral administration,1 dosage a day for consecutively 4 weeks. The changes of SP and VIP(in plasmas)distribution and changes of electrogastrogram before and after the treatment were detected by IHCA Method. Results:SP and VIP expressions in plasma were decreased obviously(P<0.01)in the treatment group, electrogastrogram changes before and after the treatment had statistical meaning(P<0.01),and the percentage of normal slow waves after meals had statistical meaning(P<0.05).Conclusion:The function of Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction on improving gastrointestinal motility may have close relationship with SP and VIP expressions in plasma, and the dose-effect relation is obvious.
