Abstract: AIM To investigate the relationship between ambulatory blood pressure parameters and left ventricular remodeling in hypertensive patients.METHODS Echocardiography and 24 h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring were performed on 105 hypertensive patients.Multivariate regression analysis was done about the relationship between left ventricular mass and ambulatory blood pressure parameters.RESULTS The average systolic blood pressure and daytime systolic blood pressure were related to left ventricular remodeling.CONCLUSION The systolic blood pressure is one of the risk factors contributing to left ventricular remodeling.
