Abstract: AIM: To evaluate the clinical results of homologuous aortic with valve replacement for aortic root diseases. METHODS: There were 85 patients underwent aortic root replacement with a cryopreserved homologuous aortic with valve. The incidence rate of complications were carried out. RESULTS: The mean follow-up time was 39±13 (range 1.5~91) months. Early and late mortality postoperatively was 1 %(1/85) and 6%(5/85), respectively. The morbidity endocarditis was only 2%(2/85).The heart function have markly improvement postoperatively.Homograft valve function showed no or trivial and moderate aortic regurgitation in survival patients was 84%(66/79) and 16%(13/79),respectively. CONCLUSION: The aortic root replacement with cryopreserved homologuous aortic with valve has acceptable hospital mortality and excellent mid-term results compare with other artificial valve.
