Abstract: AIM:To evaluate clinical effect of low molecular weight hepairn （LMWH） on patients with unstable angina pectoris （UAP）. MOTHODS:132 cases of UAP were randomly divided into the control group （of normal treatment ） and the treating group （normal treatment combined with LMWH）. The therapeutic course was one week. RESULTS:The effective rate was 95% in treating group and 70% in the control group after one week （ P ＜0.05）. Total blood viscosity,plasma viscosity,total blood reductive viscosity and platelet aggregation rate in the treating group were significantly decreased （ P ＜0.01）. Serum total cholesterol and triglyceride in the treating group were significantly lowered （ P ＜0.05）. The incidences of cardiac event were significantly lower in the treating group than in the control group （6% vs 20%, P ＜0.05）. CONCLUSION:LMWH combined with normal treatment can control angina pectoris effectively and decrease in cidence of cardiac event.
