Abstract: AIM:To evaluate clinical effect of low molecular weight hepairn (LMWH) on patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP). MOTHODS:132 cases of UAP were randomly divided into the control group (of normal treatment ) and the treating group (normal treatment combined with LMWH). The therapeutic course was one week. RESULTS:The effective rate was 95% in treating group and 70% in the control group after one week ( P <0.05). Total blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, total blood reductive viscosity and platelet aggregation rate in the treating group were significantly decreased ( P <0.01). Serum total cholesterol and triglyceride in the treating group were significantly lowered ( P <0.05). The incidences of cardiac event were significantly lower in the treating group than in the control group (6% vs 20%, P <0.05). CONCLUSION:LMWH combined with normal treatment can control angina pectoris effectively and decrease in cidence of cardiac event.
