Abstract: AIM: To investigate the relation between left ventricular remodeling and heart rate variability(HRV) in essential hypertensive patients. METHODS: Acuson128×P 10 Ultrasoundgraphy was used to analysis left ventricular remodeling and Nankang Holter star was used to analysis HRV. RESULTS: There are significantly difference between SDNN,rMSSD,PNN 50 of normal left ventricular group and other three Group: concentric remodeling, concentric hypertrophy and eccentric hypertrophy groups; and the SDNN of eccentric hypertrophy group differed from that of concentric hypertrophy significantly. CONCLUSION: The extent of left ventricular abnormality is consistent with the decline of HRV.
