Abstract: The variation of structure of LV wall and the pressure of different layers in the LV cavity in 4 weeks after ligation of coronary arteries were studied in rabbits. Our results demonstrated that in 4 weeks after AMI, the LV wall became hypertrophic and end diastolic volume was enlarged; the systolic pressure at mid layer of the LV fell down to a level lower than in the outflow; but its normal level was higher than the later and the systolic pressure rising time of the mid layer of the LV became later than in the outflow; but in the normal condition it was earlier than the later. These reverse changes are probably the important initiate and accelerate factors to LV remodeling.
