Hybrid Model-Free and Model-Free Adaptive Virtual Reference Feedback Tuning Controllers

In this chapter, the combinations of data-driven model-free control (MFC) and data-driven model-free adaptive control (MFAC) algorithms with the data-driven virtual reference feedback tuning (VRFT) technique are presented. An introduction over the combinations is presented in Section 6.1. Then, the theoretical part of the combination of MFC and VRFT and the theoretical part of the mix between MFAC and VRFT are presented in Section 6.2. The simulation and experimental results are presented in Section 6.3.
