ABSTRACT

Introduction:The choice of BR or RR is not based on evidence and arguments for and against have never been substantiated in a prospective,randomised study. A randomised study with strictly defined inclusion and exclusion criteria was performed among children with infantile esotropia. We analysed differences between the effect of a RR and a BR on the postoperative latent distance angles and the convergence excess.
