ABSTRACT
Actinidia deliciosa is also known as Green Kiwi, kiwi fruit, Chinese gooseberry, yang tao, etc. which belongs to the sub-family of genus Actinidia. The book chapter highlighted anti-hypertensive, anti-diabetic, anti-carcinogenic, anti-fungal, hepatoprotective, anti-asthma, anti-platelet, anti-nociceptive, anti-retroviral, etc. of Kiwi fruit. The methods and modes of production, storage, side effects, and traditional uses of Kiwi fruits are discussed in this chapter.
