ABSTRACT
As with economics in general, the economics of cumulative effects may be classiœed in various ways. Two such ways are especially relevant to the topic of cumulative effects: (1) macroeconomics relative to microeconomics and (2) ecological economics relative to environmental economics. Furthermore, these modes of classiœcation are closely related.
