ABSTRACT
The poster presents a corpus analysis of a stylistic feature of topic-based documentation: the speculative “you.” The feature signals important information to help readers adapt the content for their situated uses. The feature is illustrated with examples and the author offers recommendations for amplifying this information.

Speculative precomputation: long-range prefetching of delinquent loads
Special Issue: Proceedings of the 28th annual international symposium on Computer architecture (ISCA '01)This paper explores Speculative Precomputation, a technique that uses idle thread context in a multithreaded architecture to improve performance of single-threaded applications. It attacks program stalls from data cache misses by pre-computing future ...
An evaluation of speculative instruction execution on simultaneous multithreaded processors
Modern superscalar processors rely heavily on speculative execution for performance. For example, our measurements show that on a 6-issue superscalar, 93% of committed instructions for SPECINT95 are speculative. Without speculation, processor resources ...
Summarization assessment methodology for multiple corpora using queries and classification for functional evaluation
Extractive summarization is an important natural language processing approach used for document compression, improved reading comprehension, key phrase extraction, indexing, query set generation, and other analytics approaches. Extractive ...
