GW24-e0251 Coronary angiography in cardiogenic shock complicated with acute myocardial infarction

Abstract

Objectives To study the coronary angiographic features of patients with cardiogenic shock complicating acute myocardial infarction (AMI).

Methods One hundred and fifty-two consecutive patients with AMI were included in this study. The characteristics, coronary angiographic features of patients were compared between patients with cardiogenic shock (group A 42 cases) and without cardiogenic shock (group A 110 cases).

Results There was no difference in the age, proportion of women, hypertension. the diabetics were significantly higher in group A (42.9%) contrast group B (24.5%) (p < 0.05). LAD occlusion (66.7%) was higher than RCA occlusion (33.3%) in group A (p < 0.05); LAD occlusion was higher in group A than in group B (46.4%)(p < 0.05). Multivessel disease (81.0%) was higher in group A than in group B (65.5%)(p < 0.05).

Conclusions There are the relationship between cardiogenic shock complicated with AMI and vessel coronary artery disease. Initiation PCI supported intra-aortic balloon counter pulsation can improve the outcomes.
