In this Clinical Review by Anisur Rahman and colleagues an error occurred in two instances (BMJ 2014;348:g1224, doi:10.1136/bmj.g1224).

“Serotonin and adrenaline reuptake inhibitors (for example, milnacipran and duloxetine), alter levels or the function of neurotransmitters,” and “Tramadol may have an additional analgesic effect through enhancing serotonin release and inhibiting adrenaline reuptake.” In both cases “adrenaline” should be “noradrenaline.”
