Estimating the power and efficiency of intermodulation interferences under the OFDM-signal-envelope limitation

Abstract

The techniques for estimating the intermodulation-interference power, which is performed under the assumption that the envelope of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) signals is limited at the output of a transmitter interpreted as a nonlinear device, are described. The results of estimating the OFDM signal energy losses with respect to constant-envelope signals are presented. The energy losses are obtained using different interference-resistant encoding schemes.
