Abstract

Specific features in the magnetization of BiFeO3 nanoclusters synthesized under solution combustion conditions with a size of nearly 50 nm are described. It has been shown that the magnetic response of nanoclusters may appreciably variate, if they are synthesized with different types of organic fuel. The magnetic behavior of this material can be described by the model of noninteracting particles, when tartaric acid is used, and by the model of aggregated particles with an amorphous or fractal magnetic shell, when saccharose is used.
