Abstract
The studying the short-range order (SRO) in a three-component alloy on the basis of interpreting Mössbauer spectra is discussed. We suggested a description of a homogeneous SRO in a three-component alloy using the formalism of Flinn’s occupation numbers and the expansion of probabilities of cluster patterns in terms of correlation moments, quantitatively describing SRO. The method is further refined by minimizing the functional, constructed of differences between the measured and calculated intensities, with determination of Mössbauer parameters and correlation moments.
