Abstract—
This paper examines the feasibility of using titanyl hydrogen phosphate-based sorbents for removing silver radioisotopes from high-salt liquid radioactive waste. We have studied the sorption activity of ion exchangers for silver cations as a function of time and found equilibrium pH values for effective use of titanium phosphate sorbents. Titanyl hydrogen phosphate-based materials have been shown to have increased affinity for silver cations and be capable of ensuring effective removal of radionuclides from liquid radioactive waste.
