Abstract
A detailed morphological and anatomical study of the holotype of Schisandra moravica (Mai) Gregor from Šafov and additional seeds of the same species from the Cheb, Sokolov and Most Basins (Czech Republic) confirms the assignment of these fossil seeds to the genus Schisandra Michx. and provides morphological and anatomical information for detailed comparisons with extant species of Schisandra Michx. and Kadsura Juss. S. moravica showed the closest similarity to S. pubescens Hemsl. & E. H. Wilson and S. elongata (Blume) Baill.
Kurzfassung
Eine neue ausführliche morphologisch-anatomische Studie des Holotypus von Schisandra moravica (Mai) Gregor aus Šafov und Samen derselben Art aus den Cheb- (Eger), Sokolov- und Most-Becken (Tschechische Republik) bestätigt deren Zugehörigkeit zur Gattung Schisandra Michx. und bringt neue Daten im Vergleich mit den rezenten Gattungen Schisandra Michx. und Kadsura Juss. Die Studie zeigt engste Beziehungen der fossilen Sippe zu den rezenten Arten Schisandra pubesces Hemsl. & E. H. Wilson und S. elongata (Blume) Baill.
