Abstract
A fungus belonging to the Rhytismatales found on leaves of Rhododendron sp. in Yunnan province, southwestern China, is described as a new species in the genus Neococcomyces. It differs from the type species Neoccomyces rhododendri by subcuticular ascomata and aseptate ascospores.
