Many important architectures such as rings, meshes and hypercubes can be modeled as circulant graphs. As a result, circulant graphs have received a lot of attention, and a new method was developed for designing fault-tolerant solutions for them. We review this method in this paper, and examine its applications to the design of fault-tolerant solutions for meshes and hypercubes. Our results indicate that these solutions are efficient.
