New Limit on the Decay μ+e+γ

Abstract

Using two large NaI detectors, a limit on the branching ratio for the μ+e+γ decay has been found to be Rμeγ=Γ(μ+e+γ)Γ(μ+e+νeν¯μ)<3.6×109 at a 90% confidence level.
