Abstract
The predictions of two quantum-chromodynamics-based models for inelastic photoproduction are compared. The models differ in the manner in which color is treated at the perturbative level. While both models predict similar momentum distributions, there are marked differences in the predictions for the linearly-polarized-photon asymmetry.
