Abstract
The ratios of the to , to , and to production cross sections are measured in proton-proton collisions at , using a data sample collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of . The three measurements are made in the meson phase space region defined by the transverse momentum and absolute rapidity , with the excited states reconstructed through the , followed by the and decays. The to , to , and to cross section ratios, including the unknown branching fractions, are , , and , respectively. None of these ratios shows a significant dependence on the or of the meson. The normalized dipion invariant mass distributions from the decays are also reported.
