Abstract
Inclusive and semiexclusive experimental spectra for transfer reactions leading to continuum final states of the target nucleus contain contributions from different kinds of reactions like breakup and transfer to single-particle and compound nucleus resonance states of the target. We use a theoretical approach already discussed in previous publications to calculate energy spectra for transfer to continuum final states. We distinguish the breakup and absorption components of the spectra and discuss the initial state and energy dependence.
