Abstract
We have synthesized the heavy-fermion compound , crystallizing in a structure closely related to the hexagonal lattice. The physical properties show to behave very similar to the heavy-fermion superconductor . It orders antiferromagnetically at =13 K, while a large decrease in the electrical resistivity below and electronic specific-heat coefficient γ=230 mJ/mol classify the new compound as a heavy fermion. The magnetic structure is equivalent to that of , although the ordered moment of 0.50(5) is smaller. No superconductivity has been observed in above 50 mK.
