Phys. Rev. Lett. 72, 3000 - 3003 (1994)Measurement of the branching ratio and a study of CP for the leptonic decay KL→e+e-e+e-Received 24 February 1994 We have determined the branching ratio of KL→e+e-e+e- based on the observation of 27 four-electron final state events with 0.36 estimated background event, B(KL→e+e-e+e-) =[3.96±0.78(stat)±0.32(syst)]×10-8. Using the distribution of the angle between the e+e- pair decay planes, we find that the decay proceeds predominantly through the K2(CP=-1) state. ©1994 The American Physical Society
