Abstract

The exact thermodynamic equations of the Kondo model are solved in the scaling regime and the impurity magnetization, susceptibility, and specific-heat curves are obtained as functions of the temperature for different magnetic fields. This is done for the case where the impurity has spin ½, 1 and 32.
