Abstract
States of up to an excitation energy of 2 MeV have been investigated via the two-neutron pickup reaction . We have extracted angular distributions for the five observed states of and have made assignments. These states are discussed in terms of the excitation of simple modes observed in and . Matrix elements have been extracted for the interaction between the two-neutron-hole excitations and the two-proton-particle excitations and compared with simple theoretical estimates.
