Abstract
The magnetic fields encountered by nuclei recoiling in ferromagnets following Coulomb excitation have been investigated for a range of low recoil velocities. Sharp changes of the transient and the static fields at ∼500 keV average recoil energy and their dependence on temperature have been observed.
