Phys. Rev. E 65, 027202 (2002) [4 pages]Active synchronization in nonhyperbolic hyperchaotic systems
Elbert E. N. Macau1, Celso Grebogi2, and Ying-Cheng Lai3 Received 17 April 2001; published 22 January 2002 We propose a methodology to address the outstanding problem of synchronization in nonhyperbolic hyperchaotic physical systems. Our approach makes use of a controlling-chaos strategy that accomplishes the task by transmitting only one scalar signal even in the presence of noise. ©2002 The American Physical Society
